BAWN Golf Tournament
The annual BAWN Golf Tournament will take place Friday, May 16 at Empire Ranch Golf Club. Registration forms and details of the event will soon be available.
BAWN Sporting Clay Shoot
Cory Hembree was the Top Gun again this year with a score of 92. The three top teams were A Team Hembree, B Team Maxton and C Team Omboli Interiors. There were 102 shooters and a great barbecue lunch catered by Q's BBQ. BAWN congratulates Arron Moon of Sunshine Construction for winning the Beretta Shot Gun Raffle. Additional prizes were donated by Southwest Gas, Sportsman's Warehouse, Genoa Lakes and Cabela's. BAWN also thanks Capitol City Gun Club for hosting the successful event.
BAWN Remodels Council
In an effort to stimulate the economy locally and nationally, the National Association of Home Builders is bringing attention to the remodeling portion of the construction industry. A yearlong campaign called "Remodel Now" is kicking off in May and corresponds to the creation of the first Remodeler's Council in Nevada, BAWNR. The "Remodel Now" Campaign promotes the benefits of remodeling to the local community. Consumers should know that remodeling turns dreams for a home into reality and they should trust those dreams only to a qualified, professional remodeler.
The Builders Association of Western Nevada Remodelers is proud to participate in this national campaign. BAWN will be utilizing the campaign kit that includes 10 reasons to remodel now, press releases, advertisements, flyers and brochures, public service announcements, information for consumers on remodeling and much more.
